Workout check in: Yesterday I had MMX from
P90X3 on schedule but it's not my favorite so I subbed in DRENCH from
PiYo. Yeah I was drenched! Think of it like a faster paced Yoga session.
And when you are in poses like Warrior 2 you will be dipping
down and lunging so that your thighs are on fire, you are always moving
and not just moving but you are always building muscle. There are also
PiYo pushups, PiYo Plank, and THE BEAST! Great moves! I was soooo sore
this morning! It felt good.

Guilt free chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter drizzle
We all need a chocolatey sweet treat once in a while and you can totally have a little cake or dessert sometimes when eating clean I think. But if you want to enjoy a little sumthin sumthin and not kick yourself for it later, this is perfect!

Morning all! Today on my workout schedule I
had Yoga X from P90X3 so I subbed in Sweat from PiYo Instead. WOW! It
was sweaty, yeah perfect description! It goes fast so maybe after a
couple times I will have the flow down a little better. And she had the
nerve to sneak in burpees! Chalene you so & so you.

Mashed Cauliflower with Grilled Artichoke Hearts & Portobello Mushrooms
This is kind of a pain in the butt to make, however it's really worth it because it's all veggies but soooooo filling!
portobello mushrooms
artichoke hearts frozen
garlic
cauliflower
toss the artichoke hearts and mushrooms in 2 tsp of olive oil salt pepper & chopped garlic
throw on grill or roast in oven
while that's cooking, cut up and boil the cauliflower
drain and loosely chop
put in blender a little at a time
this is the pain in the butt part use a food processor if you have
when it's all pureed, add tsp olive oil and salt & pepper
top with grilled veggies

Ikea Love
Full disclaimer *that is NOT my house!* Although I am getting closer everyday! Along with working out cleaning and organizing are so good for the soul! Spent the morning getting things together for a big Ikea purchase. After Hurricane Sandy I moved myself and the kids upstairs in our house. Its basically a one bedroom apt with a makeshift kitchen (sink counterspace, toaster oven, microwave, crock pot, george forman grill lol). But after the devastation I saw and knowing some of my friends aren't home yet I am not complaining. I do however want to get my area organized and ikea-fied. So looking forward to getting some of this stuff-
About 6 of these you can buy optional doors that slip in and boxes so I dont have to look at my junk:
I can put these over my makeshift kitchen, in the bedroom, in the tv area to store dishes, pantry food, mail, odds and ends, my expanding beachbody dvd sets! Along with those I have one of these already going to get another for the clothes that never seem to have anywhere to go:I would LOVE to put a new floor down but funds and space don't really allow so I am going to just get a bunch of area rugs to go over this stupid smelly carpet. Maybe I will take before after pictures.

Yesterday my husband brought home mint instead
of basil. So I threw together these chicken burgers and they are soooo
good!
ground chicken breast
tomato
onion
zucchini
fresh mint
salt & pepper
mix together and form burgers
grill and top with avocado and mango
